Weekly Commitment: 10 hours
Duration: Spring and Summer 2017
Purpose 1: Help develop two beta FaithAtWork.am morning gatherings to attract diverse millennials in the marketplace and connect them to ministries through a morning gathering;
Purpose 2: Help Stokes develop CBMC York and Lancaster Counties through the same tools you will learn below;
Purpose 3 (optional): Help Stokes develop 2CM Ministries, Tell Us Needs, and other ministries as their vetted through the same tools you will learn below;
Objective: Designed to help multiple ministries reach, engage, and pour into millennials (40 and under) in the marketplace, affordably through cooperation;
What you will learn:
- How to research qualified and busy business contacts from LinkedIn
- How to archive said businessmen in a Google Docs Spreadsheet and share with leadership
- How to move a vetted contact through a systematic communication process
How to send scripted introductory e-mail, follow-up with a phone call, and schedule a 15-minute coffee - How to send handwritten thank you notes
- How to represent our marketplace ministry(ies) in meetings and industry events
- Build some healthy systems and processes and methods by which to reach the millennial audience
Preferred Skills:
Prior experience in a fast-growing tech environment a plus
Keen analytical skills and a creative problem-solving approach
Exceptional customer service skills
Our ideal candidate is approachable, trustworthy, professional, and shows integrity. He will grow by reaching out to marketplace businessmen in a relevant way, expanding his network, gaining experience and learning that are going to best serve him for the long term. This training could benefit him in the Charlotte and Atlanta marketplace, receive a sponsored Souly Business (weekend), a sponsored Transformational Leadership training (TL) (2-3 day workshop; a $599 value), and obtain a potential subcontracted position with and/or between multiple national and international marketplace ministries.
