Preparation for Practice Role Play Evaluation
Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey. We anticipate that it will only take you 10 minutes to complete. Service User involvement is now an established part of social work students’ role play assessments in the Preparation for Practice Module in the first semester at Queen’s.There is, however, a gap in the literature in regard to comparing the types of learning experiences which students get from being exposed to both drama students and service users in their assessed role plays. Such a comparison has never been undertaken before. You have had the opportunity of experiencing both service users and drama students in your observed role plays and we are keen to explore your views of these two experiences.
Before we do so, it is important that you understand how we will use this information, and for you to give your consent to participate. Please read the following statement and indicate whether or not you are willing to proceed. 'I understand that completion of the online survey is voluntary, and will have no bearing on any other aspect of my degree. I understand that students who complete the survey will remain anonymous. I understand that the findings will be stored according to Data Protection guidelines and that the findings may be used to develop future social work education and may also be used by the researchers in publications in professional journals.'
