ERCO Worldwide has a 120 year history of producing chemicals and a long history of supplying environmentally preferred chlorine dioxide technology to the pulp and paper industry.
ERCO Worldwide’s chloralkali business serves a variety of industries including municipal and industrial water treatment, food processing, fertilizers, agricultural intermediates, and oil and gas.
ERCO Worldwide is the second largest producer of sodium chlorate in the world. It has the world’s largest installed base of modern chlorine dioxide generators and related technology and is the second largest producer of potassium products in North America.

About the ERCO Worldwide Strategic Procurement Initiative
Erco Worldwide has embarked on a strategic procurement initiative by reviewing all major spend categories with a focus on indirect spend. Opportunities will be offered that address wider organisational spend including with Superior Propane and Superior Plus.
To our current and future vendors this presents a number of opportunities:
a) Existing work practices, specifications and vendor relationships and agreements will be challenged
b) A standard process will be used to evaluate vendors using consistent tools
c) Vendors will be invited to bid on attractive new packages of ERCO business
Cross functional teams have been organised into a waved approach to address key spend areas
Goal of the initiative
It is imperative that our facilities have a supplier who is able to deliver quality MRO goods and services in a timely and cost effective manner. ERCO's goal is to source in a way that ensures that locations receive competitive pricing, exceptional service, superior program management, and other value-added services. It is not our intention to award business purely on the basis of price, but to evaluate all proposals on the total cost of ownership: Quality, Cost and Service.
ERCO Worldwide uses a process based on seeking effective quality, price, delivery, terms, and continuity and reliability, built on a foundation of mutual trust, quality and the highest ethical standards with our vendors.
ERCO intends to award the business for 12months with an option to extend for an additional 12-month term.
ERCO Worldwide will assess vendor proposals based on the following factors, with cost being the most important factor:
The RFP closing date is 3rd July 2018 5:00pm EST. Please note that no extensions will be provided and late/incomplete submissions will be disqualified. This is the first stage in the tender process, ERCO reserves the right to continue to further rounds with some or all of the respondents. Please complete the RFP to the best of your ability to ensure your success in this process.
