    Welcome to the 2018 TNT Tech Festival.  Thank you for exhibiting.  Exhibiting is not only fun it makes a huge impact on the neighborhood and the lives of its residents.  

    Tech in the Tenderloin (TNT) connects low-opportunity youth with high-opportunity tech through fun activities and events in the Tenderloin and beyond.  Tech in the Tenderloin is a fiscally sponsored non-profit.  We are proud to be part of the Social Good Fund Family.    

    The TNT Tech Festival is produced by Tech in the Tenderloin in collaboration with The Salvation Army Kroc Center of San Francisco.

     Important Dates and Information:   

    • Event Date: Friday, June 29, 2018
    • Location: The Salvation Army Kroc Center, 240 Turk Street, San Francisco, CA 
    • Tech Fair Event Time:  1 pm - 7 pm (5 pm min end time; 7 pm preferred)

    Please note the following: 

    • Exhibitors are responsible for providing their own equipment and manpower for their exhibits
    • The Tech Festival is aimed at middle and high-school age youth. However, since many youth come with their families and the festival is open to public we recommend preparing for a K-90 crowd.  
    • Exhibitors are welcome to visit the site in advance of the tech festival to coordinate their needs.  Please contact June Sargent.

  • Exhibit Setup and Breakdown Coordination 

    Set-up Hours: 10:00 am to Noon day of the event (alt times available upon request).

    Break-down hours: 7pm - 8 pm day of event (alt times available upon request).

    Exhibitors need to be in place and ready for exhibiting no later than 12:30 pm on the day of the event.  

    (UN)LOADING before and after the event:

    A temporary loading zone is available in front of the Kroc Center.  In order for us to ensure all exhibitors have access to the zone in a timely manner, please indiciate your anticipated setup and break down times below and whether loading zone access is needed.

    If your exhibit has significant or special (un)loading needs, please indicate this below by typing "special needs" in the text box.  We will contact the Exhibit Advance POC directly to coordinate. 

    PARKING during the event:

    Please note affordable parking is very limited in the neighborhood.  If your exhibit does not require special (un)loading, public transporation and ride-share services are strongly recommended.  The Kroc Center is readily accessible from BART and MUNI.  The closest and recommended stop is Powell Street. 

     

  • Exhibit Signage and Publicity

     

    Exhibitors are welcome and encouraged to bring signage and marketing collatoral to the Tech Fair.  

    Recommended signage:

    • Interactive exhibits:  vertical retractable signs
    • Info-only Tables: horizontal banners that you can hang on the front of your table.  And/or table-top signage.
    • All: take-aways such as biz cards, info packets, branded give-aways, stickers, tatoos, candy etc.
