Day 1 – Depart USA or Pre-tour Option
Overnight flight to London (on your own) or optional pre-tour stay (contact Jackie for details)

Day 2 – Arrive in London
Upon arrival at London Heathrow Airport, meet your
local representative and transfer to your hotel. You are
introduced to London with a cruise on the River Thames.
In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner at a traditional
English pub. Overnight at the K+K Hotel George
Kensington (or similar), where you will spend all 7 nights
of the tour. (D)

Day 3 – Discover London
Enjoy a private morning tour of London, including the
Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, and Westminster Abbey
(outside). Head over to Buckingham Palace to watch the
impressive Changing of the Guards ceremony and
explore Queen Elizabeth II’s luxurious State Apartments.
Free time for lunch on your own, followed by a tour of
Kensington Palace and Gardens. Return to the hotel. The
remainder of the day is at leisure. (B)

Day 4 – Bampton & Highclere Castle
Depart London for Bampton, the setting of various village
scenes from the acclaimed Downton Abbey television
series. Visit the Church, Isobel Crawley’s house, the
hospital, and more. Continue to Highclere Castle. Tour
the main hall and rooms featured in the show. Free time
to explore the grounds or enjoy tea in one of the tea
rooms. Return to your London hotel. (B)

Day 5 – Hampton Court & Windsor Castle
Begin this morning with a visit to Hampton Court Palace,
one of the royal residences of King Henry VIII. View the
furnishings, formal gardens, maze, and Great Vine. After,
tour Windsor Castle, site of Prince Harry & Meghan
Markle’s royal wedding. (B)

Day 6 – Free Day
Today is free to explore London or the surrounding
countryside at your own pace. Consider an optional tour. (B)

Day 7 – Chartwell House & Hever Castle
Private transfer from your hotel to the beautiful Kent
countryside to visit Chartwell House, the home of Sir
Winston Churchill and his family for over 40 years. Continue
on to visit Hever Castle, the childhood home of Anne Boleyn.
Return to London. (B)

Day 8 – Tower of London & Theatre Production
After breakfast, your guide will escort you on a tour of the
infamous Tower of London, home of the Yeomen Warders
(aka “Beefeaters”) and the magnificent Crown Jewels. After
your tour, the rest of your day is at leisure. This evening,
gather for a special farewell dinner and a London theatre
production. (B,D)

Day 9 – Return to USA or Post-tour Option
After breakfast, you are picked up for your transfer to
London Heathrow Airport for your return flight home. Or you
may choose to extend your trip with a post-tour option
(contact Jackie for options). (B)

Travel Insurance

Personal travel protection insurance is not included in the tour price, but it is highly recommended. There are 2 plans to choose from: LeisureCare Classic or LeisureCare Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR). They both have the same coverage (see information below for details), except CFAR also pays 75% of the non-refundable trip cost, provided that the necessary conditions are met. Cancellation Schedule

Please note that $280 tour deposit is refundable until 2/1/2020. $20 Dream Vacations service fee is not refundable.
