Our mission is to mentor and empower Latino/Latina students through educational and cultural opportunities, while creating programs that promote academia.
Our vision is to promote educational opportunities for Latino/Latina students, while developing the mindset that’s focused on success for students in the Pomona Unified School District.
Summary: To recognize, support and encourage Latino/Latina graduating seniors who have demonstrated a commitment to culture, community and education.
Eligibility: Must be a high school senior of Latin descent, accepted into an accredited institution and planning to attend in the fall following high school graduation. Must have GPA of 3.0 or higher and demonstrate a track record of community service.
We will be awarding ten scholarships in the amount of $250 each.
All winners will be notified on or before the 30th of April 2019.
Scholarships will be presented at the Raza Graduation event on Friday, May 3rd, 2019. The event will begin at 6:00pm and is being held at the PUSD Village Conference Center.
