When your child is sick, you want the best care possible – even if it is hundreds or thousands of miles away. The Ronald McDonald House program provides a “home-away-from-home” that allows families to access specialized medical treatment at little or no cost.
The Ronald McDonald Houses are built on the simple idea that nothing else should matter when a family is focused on healing their child – not where they can afford to stay, where they will get their next meal, or where they will lay their head at night to rest. They believe that when a child is hospitalized the love and support of family is as powerful as the strongest medicine prescribed.That is where we come in! Usborne Books & More offers an amazing fundraiser opportunity that I will use in addition to our 50% match program to provide interactive and engaging books to the sick children and families who stay at our local Ronald McDonald House this Summer.
These beautiful, handmade cards are an incredible value at only $1 each (or less!). They easily compare with the $5 cards you find in gift shops. Even with the cost of shipping added in you're paying less than $1.34 each!
