This checklist is designed to help you identify safety leadership areas of strength and safety leadership areas you may wish to include on your personal development plan. You may choose to have your immediate supervisor, peers, or direct reports use the checklist to provide feedback and then compare results to understand the perceptions of your work team. Used in this manner, the Leadership Checklist can be a powerful tool in facilitating feedback about gaps in behaviors necessary for optimizing safety leadership performance. The feedback received from using this checklist can also be shared with your mentor to work toward addressing professional growth areas.
