  • Is there any relevant history we need to know whilst your pet/s are boarding with us? This could include continuous medication/allergies/behavioural traits/likes and dislikes

  • Dietary requirements – we provide a range of complete dried food for dogs & cats. Tinned chappie, pedigree and naturediet meat for dogs. Whiskas, Felix and pouches for cats. If your pet is on a special diet it is the owners responsibility to provide/label food with relevant details of quantities and timings given.

  • Local Emergency Contact – please provide details of someone we can contact if we are unable to contact you or the emergency contact given to us upon boarding. Please give us telephone numbers and email address of the person(s)

    CONDITIONS OF BOARDING
    This form must be signed and returned prior to first boarding & annually thereafter – no pet will be accepted without this.
    PETS CAN ONLY BE DROPPED OFF OR COLLECTED DURING OUR OPENING HOURS
    All year: Mon, Tue, Thur & Fri – 8.30am till 5.30pm;
    Weds – 8.30am till 12 noon; Sat – 9am till 12 noon;
    Sundays – closed (except school holiday’s, please see website for details)
    Bank Holidays: closed

    Boarding fees are payable at the time animals are collected – cash or card payment only. Day of arrival and departure will be charged for.
    Christmas – A minimum charge of 5 days will apply.

    All first time boarders are required to pay 20% non-refundable deposit of the entire boarding cost.

    CANCELLATIONS: we appreciate unforeseen circumstances are sometimes unavoidable however, we do reserve the right to charge the full boarding fee if cancellations are made within two weeks of the arrival date.

    Early collection: we reserve the right to charge full boarding fees for the original booking.

    ONLY FULLY VACCINATED PETS WILL BE ACCEPTED
    VACCINATION CARDS OR TITRE TEST CERTIFICATE MUST BE PROVIDED EVERYTIME YOUR PET BOARDS AT BROWNGATES
    PRIMARY VACCINATIONS MUST BE ADMINISTERED 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL OR BOARDING WILL BE REFUSED.
    THE KENNEL COUGH VACCINE IS OPTIONAL. IF YOUR DOG DOES HAVE THE KENNEL COUGH VACCINE IT MUST BE GIVEN A MINIMUM OF TWO WEEKS BEFORE COMING INTO BOARD, IF NOT BOARDING WILL BE REFUSED

    Whilst every possible care and attention is given to each animal, we cannot be held responsible for loss either from illness or other cause.

    For animals that are boarded together we reserve the right to separate if they appear to be unhappy or aggressive.

    If an animal is not collected within fourteen days of the date on which they are due to leave Browngates and no communication is received from the owner, authority is given to the boarding kennel proprietor to sell or rehome the animal as they deem appropriate.
