    QUEENAX PRE-INSTALL SITE SURVEY 

    Thank you for ordering a Queenax unit from Precor!

    To ensure a smooth installation, it is important for us to learn about your hotel and the space where the Queenax unit/s will be anchored. Please answer the following questions about your hotel, and if you are unsure about any item, please add comments or questions at the end, and we will contact you for guidance.

  • Functional training units must be secured directly to concrete, so installation of your Queenax unit will require cutting away any floor covering and drilling into the concrete floor. Precor requires an installation waiver and release form to be signed by an authorized person for the facility before the installation can begin.

  • SPACE AND FLOOR INFORMATION

     

    For standard installations: 4” of on-grade concrete slab (concrete with earth/ground beneath it, free of any embedded cables, pipes, etc) is required under each of the columns for the securing of the unit. If there is a covering on your floor it must be cut away to mount the unit directly to the concrete beneath.

    This information may require reviewing blueprints and/or structural drawings. If your facility is under construction, we can work directly with your Project Manager, Architect and/or Structural Engineer. A Queenax Installation Coordinator will be in contact with you to further review this aspect of your installation.

  • COORDINATING THE INSTALLATION

    Queenax installation can be disrupting, please be aware that a hammer drill and impact drivers will be utilized during this procedure. Noise levels can be above 90 dBA intermittently during the installation process.

    Standard installations are scheduled Monday to Friday within regular working hours (8am – 6pm). Arrangements can be made if you require an installation after hours or on the weekend, but will incur additional installation costs.

    Bringing the equipment to the install area can be challenging. Our largest box is approximately 100 inches long. Because of this, we need the exact details of the walkway/s from the building entrance to the install area.

    This procedure can be very challenging, especially if we require to use a material lift to safely assemble the structure, therefore we require as many details for this area.
