Use this form to apply for at-large positions on the SOU Sustainability Council. For the 2019-2020 Sustainability Council, priority will be given to applicants who apply by November 1st, 2019.
About the Sustainability Council
The mission of the Sustainability Council is to advise, encourage, and coordinate the operations, research, and campus culture of Southern Oregon University in a manner that is consistent with the values and practices of environmental stewardship and sustainability; promoting individual, institutional and community well-being.
The SOU Sustainability Council meets two times per quarter and is comprised of students, staff, and faculty. All Council members are expected to serve on at least one sub-committee working to advance campus sustainability related projects and endeavors.

Student Applicants
All interested students are encouraged to apply. Students with prior experience in campus or community sustainability or other leadership experience will be prioritized in Council membership selection. Students interested in entry-level opportunities to get involved in campus sustainability are encouraged to contact the Student Sustainability Center ecos@sou.edu about volunteer opportunities.
