  • Class Description
    In this class we examine the role the Fear Paralysis and the reflexes that are connected to the second stage of Moro relate to establishing a sense of stability and security, and how they are important for bonding and attachment, communication and language development.

     

    Topics Include

    • Recognize the importance of the FPR and Moro reflexes in establishing a sense of security and stability.
    • Indicate how the clinging and grasping reflexes relate to the Moro reflex and how if they are retained they can delay emotional maturity.
    • Explain the role of reflexes in developing language
      Recognize how retained reflexes can effect emotional and behavioural development
    • Identify emotions with specific retained reflexes
    • Demonstrate passive isometrics to promote postural, proprioceptive and vestibular integration
    • Summarize the role of reflexes in establishing bonding and attachment
    • Review the role and functions of the flight-or-fight response
    • Demonstrate how to use facial massage techniques to integrate reflexes influential in developing language and emotional maturity
    • The role infant movement and reflexes play in language development, emotional stability, impulse control, curiosity, developing relationships and independence.

        • Cancellation Policies:

          Cancellation by RMTi:

          RMTi reserves the right to cancel the RMTi training if there are not enough registrants to make the class viable. If there are not 4 or more full registrants at least 4 weeks before the class, RMTi may decide to cancel the class. In such cases all registrants will be notified immediately and a full refund offered, including deposit, to be paid within 2 weeks of the cancellation.
          Registrants may also be offered the opportunity to transfer their registration to another course, however there is no requirement that they accept this offer. In the event of a change of date for the course, all registrants will be immediately notified by RMTi and will have the option of cancelling their registration with a full refund (including their non-refundable deposit) or transferring their registration and payment towards either the new date or at another date in the future.

          Cancellation by Registrant:

          If the registrant requests cancellation up to 5 days prior to the start date they may choose to receive a refund (Tuition fee minus $100 non-refundable deposit) or to credit the full amount towards future RMTi training courses with RMTi sponsored classes.
          If registrant requests cancellation of enrollment less than 5 days prior to the course start date RMTi reserves the right to consider refund amounts on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of RMTi. However depending upon the situation, a registrant may receive credit towards undertaking the same course at a future date, again at the discretion of the RMTi.
          Exceptions: If the registrant falls ill before or during the class, or there is a family emergency the registrant may apply for a full refund (minus the non-refundable deposit). This will be given at the discretion of RMTi. Proof of illness or emergency must be provided.

        • Should be Empty:
