  • The Youth Choir Committee has added and updated some questions to the Application. Please prayerfully consider your response to the essay questions. We expect that all applicants take the application seriously. Acceptance onto Youth Choir is partially based on the effort you put forth on the essay questions.

  • For this year's tour we will have 3 rounds of application acceptances. For each round the registration fee increases. The Youth Choir Committee will review each application and respond at the end of each round. Once accepted, the applicant will have 2 weeks to turn in their registration fee otherwise their spot will be given to another applicant.

    Round 1: January 5-March 15, 2018 Reg. Fee: $175

    Round 2: March 16- April 30, 2018 Reg. Fee: $200

    Round 3: May 1- June 1 Reg. Fee: $225

    *Any applications submitted after June 1 will be required to pay a registration fee of $250, once accepted on tour.

  • Recommendations

    We are asking that all applicants, who have not attended YC in the last 3 years, provide a personal and musical recommendation. Your Personal Recommendation can be can be a pastor, teacher, youth group leader etc., but should not be a family member. We will email a form to the individuals you designate below.

    Additional Information

    PASSPORTS

    Every choir member must have a passport. We are traveling across the border into Canada and Mexico; new laws require passports. Plan now because the process to obtain a passport can take several weeks.

    AIRPORT INFORMATION

    At the beginning of tour you can either fly into the Phoenix International Airport (PHX) or the Mesa, AZ airport (AZA). Please plan to arrive no later that 2:00pm on Thursday June 21.

    At the end of tour, if you are not continuing on to camp, plan to fly out of the Seattle, WA airport (SEA). Do not fly out any earlier that 2:00pm. This gives us enough time to get you to the airport.

    EARLY ARRIVALS AND LATE DEPARTURES

    If you need to book a ticket for an early arrival which will require overnight housing in Phoenix, please contact the Youth Choir Commitee ASAP (accyouthchoir@gmail.com). Anyone departing after Monday July 9th must make personal arrangements for travel and accommodations after this date.

    SPONSOR PROGRAM

    Each choir member is expected to raise a minimum of $1,000 in sponsors. You will receive information and forms, which further explain this program that enables ACCF to cover the additional expenses involved with your participation in the ministry of Youth Choir. Sponsors will receive a charitable donation receipt at the end of the year for their donations to ACCF-DAP Youth choir.

    SCHOLARSHIPS

    Any applicant who would otherwise be accepted to the choir and cannot pay all or part of the application fee or meet the minimum sponsor requirement should contact the Youth Choir Commitee at accyouthchoir@gmail.com about scholarships that are available on a limited basis.
