What are Life Groups?
Life groups are small groups of 8 - 10 people who meet once a month. They can meet in member's homes, parks, restaurants or wherever folks feel comfortable. They can meet for meals, social time, activities, etc. Groups are made up of singles, couples, young people, retirees, and families - in other words, a cross section of the parish. The meetings encourage friendships to develop among people who might not have any other opportunities to meet.
How long do they stay together?
The Life groups will begin meeting in January 2020 and will meet for the year. We are planning to have a Family Friendly Group with children included.
Do I need to have children to join the family friendly group? No! All are welcome.
Do I have to host a fancy dinner when it's at my house?
Absolutely not! Meals can include cookouts, pizza, pot luck, meeting at a restaurant or whatever you’re comfortable doing! You don't have to meet for meals at all! It all works!
How do I sign up?
Complete the form below and put it in the Small group box in the Narthex or submint online.
We'll put together the groups in January and let you know who your group leader is. The group leader will be in charge of keeping the calendar and reminding everyone each month of what day your are meeting and where.
