In order to hunt in Massachusetts, minors 15-17 years of age must have a minor hunting license, along with any additional required permits or stamps. To purchase a license, hunters between 15–17 must have written consent from a parent or legal guardian. Additionally, they must either be accompanied by an adult while hunting or have a government-approved Certificate of Completion from a Basic Hunter Education Course from any jurisdiction.
