This plan submission is for venues, agencies, or individuals that are hosting indoor or outdoor events.
Outdoor event capacities -
*Ticketed, seated events in outdoor venues >30,000 square feet require approval from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.
Indoor event capacities -
Seated Indoor Events;
Events where the attendees have minimal movement, such as purchasing concessions or using the restroom facilities, do not have capacity restrictions but it's recommended people maintain 6 feet of distance between parties. If a seated indoor event will exceed 500 people, the event operator or organizer must consult with the Larimer County Department of Health & Environment. After submitting this form, we will contact the submitter by email to coordinate approval with the Colorado Department of Health & Environment if necessary.
Unseated Indoor Events;
Unseated events include those when movements such as walking to visit vendors or through exhibits in a museum are occurring. Increased ventilation is recommended (e.g., opening doors and windows), and Colorado's face-covering requirements must be followed.
If the event organizer(s) and/or venue can demonstrate excellent safety plans via a written plan with provisions below, events may be approved.
