    $125 Upgrade from Registered Guest to Tenant Associate Member
  • DEFINITION

    The Lake Monticello Owners' Association may establish non-voting classes of membership comprised of persons, firms, associations or corporations who are not the owners of residential building lots in Lake Monticello.

    A non-voting class of membership comprised of entities who are not owners of residential building lots in Lake Monticello. They are usually amenity based such as, but not limited to, golf and social. Membership is by contract and a fee is charged. [Ref: PM 20.01]

    Full-time tenants may upgrade their status from “registered guest” of the property owner/lessor to Tenant Associate Member by paying a fee equivalent to the difference between the annual Tenant Associate Member rate and the annual LMOA member dues then in effect, and by submitting an Associate Member application each calendar year. The Tenant Associate Member shall be allowed to pay the applicable LMOA member fees for use of the paid amenities (e.g.: golf, swimming pool); to register boats; and to obtain a gate access device at the LMOA member rate. In signing and submitting the Associate Member application, the Tenant Associate Member acknowledges a contractual relationship with the Association including all of the associated rights, benefits and obligations.   • PRIVILEGES AND OBLIGATIONS

    Tenant Associate Members shall be allowed to pay the applicable LMOA member fees for use of the paid amenities (e.g. golf, swimming pool, tennis) and to register boats.

    In signing and submitting the Associate Member application, the Tenant Associate Member acknowledges a contractual relationship with the Association including all of the associated rights, benefits and obligations. This membership is good for one year from the date of signature, as long as tenant status is maintained with LMOA.

    Tenant Associate Members shall be responsible for all debts and acts by their spouse, dependent children and guests.

    A copy of the lease or rental agreement between a lessor and lessee shall be filed in the Association's office.

  • IDENTIFICATION

    The Tenant Member Associate will be issued a member card(s) for the Tenant Associate Member(s), as well as those tenants listed on the valid lease for amenity use.

  • REVOCATION OF MEMBERSHIP

    The failure of a Tenant Associate Member, spouse, dependent child or guest to comply with LMOA rules and regulations may result in temporary suspension of Membership privileges and/or revocation of the Membership. Revocation of the Membership requires action by the Board of Directors.
