I have read and understand the Application Process* This field is required.1. Application deadline is 5 weeks prior to each show. 2. Application notifications (acceptance, request for more information, decline) will be sent 4 weeks prior to each show to each applicant. 3. If accepted, a welcome letter and City of Savannah business tax form will be emailed to each applicant. A copy of a valid City of Savannah business tax certificate is required for acceptance into each show. 4. Accepted artists will be required to submit payment 3 weeks prior to each show. If no payment is received by this date, the applicant will be automatically denied. Payments are accepted by credit cards, money orders or cash. No personal checks will be accepted. 5. Accepted artists whom have paid their booth fees in full will receive booth assignments, maps, and check-in instructions 2 weeks prior to each show. 6. All payments are non-refundable.

I have read and understand the General Show Schedule* This field is required.This general schedule is subject to change for each show at the discretion of the organizer Friday: 1. Check-in window is between 8:00am and 12:00pm. 2. Upon check-in, artists will receive an unloading pass. 3. Show load-in is permitted from the merchant side of River Street only, not the Savannah River side. The Savannah Police Department will ticket you for violating this rule. 4. Artists will not be permitted to load in from the street after 12:00pm. 5. Vendors are responsible for parking. 6. Please notify us if you are going to be late. 7. Show hours are from 4:00pm to 9:00pm. Artists will not be permitted to close their booths before 8:00pm. 8. Artists must have their booths set up and open for business at 4:00pm. Saturday: 1. Show hours are from 12:00pm to 9:00pm. Artists will not be permitted to close their booths before 8pm. Sunday: 1. Show hours are from 12:00pm to 4:00pm. 2. Load-out time is between 4:00pm and 7:00pm. 3. Show load-out is permitted to the merchant side of River Street only, not the Savannah River side. The Savannah Police Department will ticket you for violating this rule.

I have read and understand the Accepted Mediums* This field is required.Accepted Mediums: 1. Painting / Drawing, Ceramics, Digital Art, Fiber, Glassworks, Interactive Art (Face Painting, Caricature Drawing, Live Art, etc.), Jewelry, Mixed Media, Other, Photography, Sculpture, Woodworks 2. We limit the number of each category to 20% of the entire show. Denied artists due to full categories may be added to a waitlist in the case that accepted artists decline acceptance.

Photographs must be a clear and accurate representation of the size, style and quality of work exhibited. The following pictures need to be submitted verifying handmade items. • Photograph(s) of Raw Materials • Photograph(s) of work in progress (50% completed work) • Photograph(s) representative of completed work(s) • Photograph of the front of the booth display All items displayed for sale must be original work. Work must be done by exhibitor only and not by employees or staff. This means no mass production crafts, cottage industry, kits or handcrafted imports are accepted. All clothing must be individually submitted for approval, including items embellished, altered or decorated. All work must comply with Savannah City Ordinance 4-5067(1): No food items, T-shirts, incense, oils or sprays will be accepted per Savannah City Ordinance 4-5067(1). If you did not make it, please do not bring it. This is an arts & crafts show – no buy/sell items are allowed. Exhibitors must make all items and be present at the show. No representatives or agents allowed. Exhibitors may only sell work that is represented in the submitted photographs. Anyone that displays work not described on the application or represented in the photographs will be asked to remove these items. Do not display items without prior approval. Staff will check booths periodically throughout the festival for compliance with admission requirements as set forth in this application. If it is determined that you are not in compliance, you will be first warned and then asked to leave if you do not make corrections. Booth fees will not be refunded. Acceptance into one show does not guarantee acceptance into future shows. Acceptance is based on several factors including, but not limited to, originality and quality of work(s) and balance of media in each show.

I have read and understand the Booth Guidelines* This field is required.Booth Fees: • Friday, Saturday & Sunday show is $500 for a 10ft x 10ft space or $1,000 for a 10ft x 20ft space. • All fees are non-refundable. • Exhibitors must provide a white tent, tables and entire display. • Electricity is included in all exhibitor fees (limited to a 110 outlet, bring ample extension cords for power since outlets can reach 50 ft -100 ft from booths.) • Extending your space is prohibited. If you need more room, you must rent another space. Your space extends 10 ft from the rail (if you are on the Savannah River side) or 10 ft from the brick planters (if you are on the street side). There should be no room between the back of your display and the rail/brick planter. • If your tent has a bottom-rear stabilizer bar you must situate your tent as close as possible to the rails, planters, etc. Staff will be on-site to advise on any tent placement questions. • Professional appearance: Tables must be skirted to the ground preferably with a fabric tablecloth, and storage boxes kept out of sight. No sale or discount signs are permitted. • Attendance: please be present, at all times during exhibit hours. Only one exhibitor and accepted medium is allowed per rented space. Relocating your booth is strictly prohibited. • This is an outdoor event. Please come prepared for all weather situations. NO REFUNDS will be given due to the weather conditions. Self-contained (propane or battery powered) heaters are welcome; electric heaters are not allowed due the excessive amperage drawn, thereby overloading the breakers. • All vendors will be responsible for disposing trash in designated dumpsters. This includes boxes and any loose trash. No dumping on the street or using street trash cans is allowed. • Per the City of Savannah: Absolutely no tape or rope is allowed to be attached or tied to the poles, railing, benches, and/or trees (etc.) If the organizer incurs any charges for violation of this rule, the vendor assumes responsibility for the amount invoiced to and be given a warning for future shows. • Savannah’s Waterfront is responsible for security, advertising, promotion, plaza rental, vendor attendance fees to the City of Savannah, electricity, activities, and entertainment.

I have read and understand the Tax Requirements* This field is required.City Business Tax Certificates: The City of Savannah requires all Arts and Crafts Vendors to apply for a Temporary Festival Business Tax Certificate. Vendors need to apply annually. The fee is $85. The application will be sent to accepted artists or you may find it on the City of Savannah Revenue Department’s website. Sales Tax Sales tax is the responsibility of the exhibitor; Georgia Department of Revenue forms will be provided to accepted vendors.

I have read and understand the Liability Disclaimer* This field is required.These are outdoor events on Rousakis Plaza located along historic River Street. Every reasonable effort will be made to ensure a safe and secure environment during all hours of the show, including around-the-clock security. Savannah’s Waterfront, its employees, contractors, sponsors and volunteers, nevertheless, will assume no responsibility for loss or damage incurred during the show. Work should not be so fragile or presented in such a manner that public display is potentially harmful to the work or the viewer.

I have read and understand the Legal Agreement* This field is required.Submission of this application shall constitute an agreement on the part of the exhibitor to comply with the conditions set forth in this prospectus, including the following: Release and discharge of Savannah’s Waterfront, its employees, contractors and volunteers from any and all claims occasioned by damage or loss of application image(s) or artwork while in possession of Savannah‘s Waterfront. No work accepted for the exhibition may be withdrawn prior to the close of the exhibition. Additionally granted is permission to use submitted artwork and personal image(s) and name for the express purposes of Savannah’s Waterfront festival promotion. Exhibitor agrees to hold Savannah’s Waterfront, its employees and volunteers, all merchants owning or leasing space in the plaza area, their agents and employees free from and against any suits, proceeding actions and causes or actions of any and every kind and nature arising or growing out of in any way connected with exhibitor’s use of occupancy of the plaza, regardless of fault, negligence, or lack thereof, of any responsibility for theft, damage, or injury to exhibitor’s property or person.
