The JXN Natural Hair Expo thanks you for your interest in becoming a vendor at the 2023 Expo! We are excited that you chose to showcase your amazing products and services at #1 largest natural hair expo in Mississippi attracting vendors and guests from across the country.

The JXN Natural Hair Expo is designed to help women, men and children gain knowledge about natural hair, mental and personal health, self-care awareness, discover the lastest fashions and trends. All of these amazing opportunities and more are offered to help you reconnect with their true self and having a fun time doing it! The JXN Natural Hair Expo is family oriented. There's something for everyone to enjoy!

This year we're hosting over 150 vendors, 8 master classes, and various platforms centered around the natural hair community, mental health awareness, and personal healthcare. To help you better understand our vision and mission for the expo, we have created helpful tips to help answer any questions you may have about the event. The 2023 JXN Natural Hair Expo will be held at the Mississippi Trademart on Saturday, March 4th from 10am - 6pm! We have outlined the following procedures to make the expo enjoyable, safe and profitable for you and our excited guests. Please read the information carefully and fill this form out in its entirety.

Vendor Registrations start at $125 depending on what you want to showcase (options below). There is a NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE vendor fee due at the time of application.

 ***IMPORTANT NOTE:

For the purposes of this application, vendors and exhibitors are used interchangeably to describe you, the applicant. 

The 2023 JXN Natural Hair Expo at the Mississippi Trademart  located at 1200 Mississippi Street, Jackson, MS 39202. 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. SETUP TIMES:• Saturday, March 4th from 8:00 am to 10:30 am • You will be directed to your designated area by the Vendor Committee during these setup periods. VENDOR CHECK-IN: Check in at the table for your setup information.• You will receive your space assignment at Check In only, not before. Vendor Breakdown/Load up/Clean-up: 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. No breakdown before the end of the expo for any reason or you will not be invited back to participate. 

Distribution of exhibitor space will be assigned by the event organizers. All booth space assignments are at the sole discretion of JXN Natural Hair Expo. Sharing of exhibit space is NOT permitted. If an exhibitor fails to occupy space before 9:45am CST on the morning of the event, the space may be reallocated or reassigned or forfeited. We do not allow vendors to set up after the start of the event for any reason. Loud or offensive exhibits, subject to JXN Natural Hair Expo discretion, are not permitted: Blocking aisles, soliciting customers in the aisles or handling materials out in the aisles is prohibited. 

The JXN Natural Hair Expo provides a standard set up of (1) 8ft Table and (2) Chairs. Additional tables and chairs will require an upgrade in vendor space. 

Available Spaces:

Standard:  - $125  (1 Table, 2 chairs, 1 complimentary expo ticket valued at $25 each for promotional use only)

Deluxe: - $200 (2 Tables, 4 chairs, 2 complimentary expo tickets valued at $25 each for promotional use only)

VIP Vendor Package: - $350 (Your choice of 1 or 2 Tables, 2 or 4 Chairs, your choice of preferred vendor set up Entry Way Into Expo, Inside of the Expo Near Stage, and 3 complimentary expo tickets for promotional use only).

***PLEASE NOTE THAT THE COMPLIMENTARY TICKETS YOU WILL RECEIVE ARE GIVEN TO SUPPORT YOUR VENDING EXPERIENCE. THEY ARE NOT FOR RESALE BUT FOR PROMOTIONAL GIVEAWAYS. ONCE YOUR APPLICATION HAS BEEN SUBMITTED AND APPROVED, YOU WILL BE EMAILED WITH THE DISCOUNT CODE FOR YOUR FREE TICKET(S).

Vendors should clean up their areas at the end of the expo. Vendors should pack up the entire contents of their booth before pulling their car into the expo's loading area. All vendors must load vehicles and be clear of the market area within 60 minutes (no later than 7:00 p.m.) after the close of the expo. Vendors will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of their vending area. Vendors shall not use public trash receptacles for disposal of products, boxes, etc. Please bring a garbage can or bag for disposal purposes.

The JXN Natural Hair Expo does not warrant or guarantee any particular results of the Expo event, nor does it guarantee a particular number of attendees or exhibitors. 

I understand that my vendor fee are non-refundable and non-tranferable. 

Vendors are fully responsible for obtaining all licenses, insurance or permits required and adhering to all applicable laws, ordinances, and statues. Permits include, but are not limited to, a sales tax permit, as well as health permits for any vendor selling, displaying or food.6. LAWS & TAXES: All vendors are responsible for abiding by State and Federal laws related to their businesses, along with sales tax and any other tax they are responsible for. IMPORTANT: Vendors will receive a MS Department of Revenue tax form for reporting earnings. These forms must be completed and returned to the 4th Annual JXN Natural Hair Expo event staff when they come around and collect forms and taxes at the close of each market. THIS IS MANDATORY AND REQUIRED BY THE MISSISSIPPI DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE FOR US TO OPERATE IN COMPLIANCE. This means we will collect your form and your taxes on the day of the event.

The organizer reserves the right, upon reasonable notice to the Exhibitor, to substitute alternate dates and/or facilities other than those originally planned for a particular event. Exhibitor, also hereby grants the event permission to use Exhibitors’ name, logos, images, and/or photos, for promotional purposes in connection with the Expo and/or other events produced by the organizer. This permission shall extend to photographs of the Exhibitor’s booth. Do you understand and agree to this section?

Becoming a Swag Bag Sponsor is only $50.00. It puts your company logo and branded products and services in the hands and homes of over a hundred VIP guests, Official Sponsors, and Main Stage Speakers. These products can range from business cards and promotional or company logo items to full size products and branded swag. Each Swag Bag Sponsor must supply at least 30 items for promotional usage. Upon request, items can also be donated as giveaway prizes for attendees. You can make your request by emailing us at jxnnh3xpo@gmail.com.

1. Consent to Photograph /Videotape / Interview Individuals Please read, date and provide your signature on the next pages Terms & Conditions I hereby agree and give my permission for JXN Natural Hair Expo  and/or partners to record, film, photograph, audiotape or videotape myself (hereinafter collectively referred to as name mentioned in application) and to display, publish or distribute these Works for the purpose of publishing, posting on the JXN Natural Hair Expo website and posting on social media sites. I hereby waive any right to approve the use of these Works now or in the future, whether the use is known to me or unknown, and I waive any right to any royalties related to the use of these Works. I understand that the Works may appear in electronic form on the internet or in other publications outside of the Rise Asset Development’s control. I agree that I will not hold the Rise Asset Development responsible for any harm that may arise from such unauthorized reproduction.
2. LIMITED LIABILITY: Vendor expressly releases JXNNHE, Jxn Natural Hair Expo, LLC and any of its affiliates, supporters, founders, volunteers, or any other associated individuals or companies from any liability and waives A) any and all demands, claims, and causes of action in law or in equity, related to any defect deficiency, failure or impairment of utilities or other facilities, including water, heating electricity, ventilation, refrigeration, or other mechanical systems failure; B) the conduct, negligence or claims of any exhibitor, volunteer, employee, creator, owner, contractor, or attendee or any other affiliated party associated with Jxn Natural Hair Expo, LLC and JXNNHE; and C) any fire, flood, strike, terrorist attack, weathers or other force majeure beyond control of Jxn Natural Hair Expo, LLC and JXNNHE. 
3. CANCELLATION: Organizers reserve the right to cancel this event at any time prior to the date of the event with refund of all amounts paid by participants to JXNNHE in connection with this Agreement. Otherwise all payments are non-refundable. The organizers also reserve the right to cancel the vendor’s ability to vend at the expo based on the vendor’s behavior, display, products, or for any reason deemed appropriate by the event without refund to the vendor. The organizers deem that a rescheduled event is not a canceled event and no refunds will be given as you will be given a vending space with a new date and potentially a new location. 
4. INDEMNIFICATION: Exhibitors display and exhibit property at their own risk. JXNNHE, Jxn Natural Hair Expo, LLC and any of its affiliates, supporters, founders, volunteers, or any other associated individuals or companies does not assume any responsibility for loss or damage to Exhibitors property. Jxn Natural Hair Expo, LLC and JXNNHE will not be held accountable for death or injury of any personal attending an event, or for any damages suffered by Exhibitor or its officers, agents, employees, or invitees as a result of any cause whatsoever. Exhibitor shall indemnify and hold Jxn Natural Hair Expo, LLC, JXNNHE, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, sponsors, and their respective officers, directors, agents and employees harmless from any suit or claim arising out of any action or failure to act by the Exhibitor. Exhibitor shall be liable for any and all damages caused by exhibitor to the event building’s grounds, landscaping, floors, walls, columns, or any other part of the building, or to the chattels and fixtures of the building or any other Exhibitor or person or entity having property at the events building’s premises. Exhibitors are advised to obtain insurance coverage for this risk.
