Normally, those in this role do not qualify for the exam:as they do not meet our clinical practice requirements. These individuals usually lack the second education requirement (i.e., they may have a certification from an accredited radiology program but are not licensed on a state/national level). Additionally, they do not act on their own while delivering care, evaluate the care that patients receive, check in on lines, develop procedures, or educate patients/others. As such, they are usually not qualified to take the exam. HOWEVER, exceptions may exist, and if you believe you fulfill our eligibility requirements, please contact us at info@vacert.org with a copy of your job description and we will be happy to review your eligibility to make sure our exam is the best fit for you.

Those in this role do not qualify for the exam.While we do permit Clinical Nurse Specialists/Educators and those in similar roles to take the exam, we do not permit those in sales, marketing, or other non-clinical industry professionals to take the exam. Please see our Industry Partner Certificate Program if you would like continuing education in vascular access.
