2023 C2C Rams Staff Code of Ethics
The Ethics Code for Staff is intended to provide general expectations of conduct. This code is intended to provide general principles to cover most situations encountered by staff. Its primary objective is the well-being and protection of individuals and groups with whom we work. It is the responsibility of each individual to aim for the highest possible standards of conduct.
√ Staff recognizes the boundaries of their particular competencies and the limitations of their expertise. They provide those skills and use only those methods for which they are qualified by education, training, or experience.
√ Staff members are honest, fair, and respectful of others. The staff member shall be aware that he or she has a tremendous influence, for either good or ill, on the education of the player and, thus, shall never place the value of winning above the value of instilling the highest ideals of character.
√ Staff respects the fundamental rights, dignity, and worth of all those taking part in sport including, but not limited to, C2C Board Members, Coaches, Game Officials, Players, Parents or Volunteers. Staff members are aware of cultural, individual, and role differences, including those of age, gender, race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, disability, language, and socioeconomic status.
√ Staff members seek to contribute to the welfare of those with whom they interact. When conflicts occur, the staff member attempts to resolve these conflicts and to perform their roles in a responsible fashion that avoids or minimizes harm.
√ Staff members are aware of their responsibilities to the community and the society in which they work and live. Staff members comply with the law.
