      What We’re Looking For 

      • Passion for serving in partnership with the community to make positive change;

      • Interest in connecting with and learning from other students and partners across the state; 
      • Willingness to be an ambassador for the Fellowship on campus and beyond.

      What You’ll Do

      Fellows will serve with K-12 schools, food banks / pantries, or climate action organizations to build healthier and more equitable communities across California. They will do this in a variety of ways:

      • Running outreach and education programs for climate change organizations
      • Facilitating after school activities, including athletics and tutoring programs 
      • Staffing administrative functions of basic-needs organizations 

      What You’ll Gain: Benefits  

      • $7,000 living stipend, distributed monthly throughout service term
      • $3,000 Education Award upon completion of 450 service hours

      • Possible academic credit if arranged with your major department to satisfy internship, project, or coursework requirements
      • Connections with Fellows across the state via a virtual community platform and regional events

      Where You’ll Serve 

      College Corps at Cal Poly State University offers service positions in local nonprofits and municipal agencies within a reasonable distance from campus. Some examples of service sites from the previous year: 

      • Community Climate Solutions
      • City Farm SLO
      • San Luis Coastal Unified School District
