Please fill out the below application in its entirety. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed. The scholarship is open to graduating seniors in the local seven cities of Hampton Roads (Norfolk, Portsmouth, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Hampton and Newport News). You must be accepted at a two or four year accredited college or university and a first generation college student in your family. Grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 to 3.5 on a 4.0 grading scale. Open for applications May 1st - August 31st (must be postdated by August 31st). Notifications of award by October 31st. Minimum award of $500. Certified check will be mailed directly to the Financial Aid office of the attending school.
