High School Team Grant

Grant Purpose:

This grant provides support to High School Tennis Teams in North Carolina. Funds from this grant can be used for essential equipment and supplies. Under-resourced schools and schools applying Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) considerations will be given priority. Funding requests that benefit both girl's and boy's teams as well as extended reach to Middle Schools will be favorably received.

Our grant seeks to fund essential equipment and supplies such as balls, hoppers, nets, water coolers, and minor court repairs. The grant does not cover the purchase of uniforms, visors, ball machines, radar guns, private lessons & clinics for players, or major facility improvement projects (e.g. resurfacing). USTA North Carolina has a Try Tennis program to grow our sport for both juniors and adults. If adopted, the program includes instructor incentives. By running this program you could potentially make money toward your high school team budget. For example, this could be a fundraiser and team bonding experience.
