    We're bringing back the light show! Join us for the second annual Drone Light Show on September 21-23, 2023. In addition to live music, party atmosphere, and vendors, you can expect more excitement, more drones, bigger performances, and a festival of light to accompany the show.

    What: Wichita’s Drone Light Fest returns to Exploration Place on September 21-23, 2023!

    The show will provide breathtaking views of 300 synchronized drones (100 more than last year!), fully choreographed with music. We are planning exciting enhancements to the experience, including new custom drone formations, floating Chinese water lanterns, projections on the Exploration Place building and live music.  

    When: Thursday, Friday and Saturday September 21-23, from 6 p.m. - 10 p.m


    Where: Exploration Place (300 N. McLean Blvd., Wichita, KS 67203)
    Vendors will be outside all evening, in and around the entrance plaza and festival plaza.

    Deadline: Completed form and payment due by 5 p.m. on Friday, September 8.

    A $250 fee is required to reserve a booth. Food and beverage vendors also agree to split 20% of net sales that exceed the booth deposit fee with Exploration Place. Contact Ashlie at (316) 660-0676 for all questions.

      • Form Completion

        Space limited. Deadline is 5 p.m. on September 21-23, 2023. If space is unavailable or there is an issue with your registration, Exploration Place will contact you. Exploration Place reserves the right to decline vendors for any reason. Please double-check your company name and information. Exploration Place will use the information on this form, as submitted, for marketing purposes.

        Event, Set-up & Tear-Down

        Exploration Place will assign a location for each vendor and set up the tables and chairs for each booth. By signing this form, you agree to the following: 

        Vendor booths
        • Set up at your assigned location.
        • Unload booth materials from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Vehicles must be out of the vendor area by 5 p.m.
        • Be ready to welcome visitors by 5:30 p.m.
        • Staff your booth from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. each night.
        • Provide your own booth displays, awnings or tents, tablecloths and signs.
        • Request electricity by September 8 and provide your own cords, surge protectors, and other equipment. There will be no last-minute additions.
        • No water hookups available.
        • Take down and remove booth materials at the conclusion of each show. Items left after 11 p.m. will be disposed of. Exploration Place does not have storage space available for vendor use.
        • Vendor parking is to be determined. We will communicate where vendors may park in the weeks prior to the event. 
        • Each vendor will receive 2 vendor badges to use during the event for your staff to enter the gates. If you need more, contact Ashlie Brockleman at (316) 660-0676.
        Concession Trailer/Food Vendors:
          • Set up at your assigned location.
          • Unload booth materials from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Vehicles must be out of the vendor area by 5 p.m.
          • Be ready to welcome visitors by 5:30 p.m.
          • Staff your booth from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. each night.
            • Provide your own booth displays, awnings or tents, tablecloths and signs.
          • Request electricity by September 8 and provide your own cords, surge protectors, and other equipment. There will be no last-minute additions.
          • No water hookups available.
          • Trailers may remain onsite overnight for the duration of the event. Trailers must be removed by midnight on September 23, 2023.
          • Vendor parking is to be determined. We will communicate where vendors may park in the weeks prior to the event.
          • Each vendor will receive 2 vendor badges to use during the event for your staff to enter the gates. If you need more, contact Ashlie Brockleman at (316) 660-0676.
          • Security will be on premises overnight.

        Payment Terms

        Booth fees are due by September 8, 2023. Food and beverage vendors also agree to pay 20% of net sales that exceed the booth deposit fee. Payment to Exploration Place must be made within 30 days of the event, or by October 20, 2023.

        Hold Harmless Waiver

        As an exhibitor on September 21-23, 2023, I assume complete responsibility for company staff, company property, and me. I hereby release and hold harmless Exploration Place, all sponsors, promoters, and other persons associated with the event from any and all liability for personal injury or property damage. I grant permission for any and all of the foregoing to use photographs, video tapes, motion pictures, recordings or any other record of this event for any purpose.

        I have read, understand and agree to the Terms and Conditions. I am authorized to sign this agreement with Exploration Place on September 21-23, 2023.
