New England Patriots
The New England Patriots are an American professional football team based in Greater Boston. The Patriots compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's American Football Conference East Division.
The Patriots are the second most expensive team in the NFL. Their dedicated fan base provides a unique revenue opportunity for the team. In 2015, the Patriots unveiled the Optum Field Lounge in the southern end of Gillette Stadium.
The exclusive club had an annual fee of $1,500, required at least two memberships at a time, and did not cover the cost of season tickets. Given their recent Super Bowl win, the Patriots appear to be competing for the top spot on the list of wealthiest sports teams.
