     You can choose a LANDSCAPE MIX

    A landscape mix is a mix of various species selected by local Landcare experts to suit each of the four different landscapes: slopes, ridges, riparian and garden.

    You can simply choose which landscape mix will suit your property, and we will provide you with a mix of species and types of plants.

    And/or you can choose particular SPECIES

    You can also request particular species, either as well as, or instead of landscape mix(es).

    Particular species will be available if we have sufficient stock. Please note that we can’t always provide a particular species depending on growing conditions and other factors. Please tell us if you would like any substitution plants if we do not have sufficient stock for a particular species.

    A Landscape Mix is a selection of various species chosen by local Landcare experts to suit each of the four different landscapes: slopes, ridges, riparian and garden.

            RIDGES (R) – dry forest on poor shallower soils, upper slopes & rocky ridges Mix of plants suitable for ridges (comprising about 25% eucalypts, 15% other trees, 50% acacias and other shrubs, 10% flowers and grasses)

            SLOPES (S) – grassy woodland & forest on better soils and mid to lower slopes & flatsMix of plants suitable for slopes (comprising about 20% eucalypts, 60% acacias, 20% flowers and grasses)

            RIPARIAN (W) – damp sites including streambanks, dams & damp areas on flatsMix of plants suitable for riparian (comprising about 20% eucalypts, 50% acacias and other shrubs, 30% flowers and grasses)

            GARDEN (G) – garden sites close to a houseMix of plants suitable for gardens (comprising about 10% trees, 45% acacias and other shrubs, 45% flowers and grasses). The garden selection comprises species with evidence of lower flammability. While garden plants have been assessed as having an expected low flammability rating, please note that all vegetation can burn in a hot fire.

            Please choose the quanity of each species you would like. Also select if you would be willing to accept a substitute species if your choice is not avaiable. 

            Substitution: Our nursery teams will endeavour to fulfil your request. However if a particular species is unavailable or there is not enough to fulfil your requests you have the option to receive a substitute. A substitute will be selected from the same Species or same plant group (i.e. Other Shrubs, Other Trees, Flowers or Grasses) which are suited to the same growing environment.

            If your choice is not available and you've;

            selected 'No', no plants will be offered.
            selected 'Yes', substitute plants will be offered.
            made no selection, substitute plants will be offered.

            Landscape Suitablility Key: The following letters next to the species name indicate that the species is suitable for planting in that type of landscape. 

            R = Ridges W = Riparian
            S = Slopes G = Garden
