    All nominees for the Board of Directors must be qualified under Canadian Law (see Canada Not-for-Profit Corporations Act/Qualifications of Directors) to become Directors. All Director candidates must consent to becoming a Director as follows: TO: Dietitians of Canada (the “Corporation”) and TO: the members thereof I hereby certify as follows: I am not less than eighteen (18) years of age; I have not been found to be incapable; I do not have the status of a bankrupt; and I ordinarily reside in Canada. I hereby acknowledge that the Corporation is relying upon this certificate for the purpose of ensuring compliance by the Corporation with the provisions of the Canada Not-for-Profit Corporations Act, and agree to advise the Corporation by instrument in writing delivered to the Corporation of any change in my status as hereinbefore declared; I hereby consent to act as a Director of the Corporation for the years 2024-2027 and am aware of the responsibilities that this entails. This consent shall continue in effect from year to year so long as I am re-elected to the Board of Directors by the members of the Corporation but, if I resign from the Board of Directors, this consent shall cease to have effect from the effective date of such resignation; and I further consent to participate at a meeting of the Board of Directors or of any committee of Directors of the Corporation in a manner that permits all persons participating in the meeting to communicate adequately with each other (e.g., telephonic, electronic or other communications facilities). Such consent will continue to be in effect unless revoked in writing and delivered to the Corporation.
