Thank you for choosing to enter your song(s) in the 2024 ACMA Songwriter Contest! The overall winner in each category will be designated as the American Country Music Association Country Songwriter of the Year and Christian Country Songwriter of the Year respectively. In addition, the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place Finalists along with 5 Honorable Mentions will all be recognized and receive awards.

Winner Prizes For Each Category Include:
- We The People Music Productions is giving away their "Ryman Recording Sessions at the Speakeasy Studio" (perfect for the singer/songwriter) to the winner of each category of the competition. The session will include in-person pre-production on an original song, instrumentation, an in-studio vocal session and radio ready, mastered track for distribution. ($795 value)
- National Radio Distribution for one single ($450 value)
- A guest appearance on Center Stage Live livestream series and photo shoot with Center Stage Magazine ($650 value)
- We will also be holding a special event in Nashville featuring the Top 10 contestants in both categories and possibly some other special guests!
- Additional prizes to be announced soon!

Please Read Carefully the Terms and Conditions:
- Songwriters (at least 1 on the project) must be an active member of the American Country Music Association. If you are not already a member, go to www.americancma.com click JOIN NOW, complete your membership application, then return to this submission form to complete and upload your songs. If your membership has expired or lapsed, please log in to your ACMA Member account, click on the Membership Tab and hit "Renew".
- A Maximum 350 songs from each genre will be accepted. Songs will be placed in que for review on an as-received basis. Entering songs early is advised.
- Songwriters maintain full ownership of their material. No ownership rights are compromised when entering your song(s) for the competition.
- All entries submitted must be contestant's original work and shall not infringe any copyrights or any other rights of any third parties.
- Entrant(s) grant the American Country Music Association and it's assigns permission to distribute songs to ACMA board members, preliminary and final round judges. Entrant(s) grant the American Country Music Association permission to distribute songs on all ACMA and its Spokesperson's and partners' social media once contest is final.
- Songs may have multiple co-writers. Please be sure ALL songwriters and their PROs are listed.
- You may enter multiple songs.
- A $20 entry fee is required for EACH SONG submitted. You may enter up to 10 songs on this form. If you choose to enter more than 10 songs, you will need to complete this entry form once for each 10 songs entered.
- As a songwriter, you MAY have more than one song in the top 10 finalists and are eligible to win multiple awards (i.e. overall winner, 1st - 4th runner up, honorable mention)
- There are no refunds.
- Songs will be narrowed down by the Preliminary Round Judges to the top 10 in each category. Final Round Judges will score and narrow to the to the top 5. Each category will name 4 runners up and 1 overall winner, plus 5 Honorable Mentions.
- Songs will be judged on: Creativity, Lyrics, Melody, Arrangement, Originality and Overall Technique.
- Judges will not consider recording or performance quality to determine winners, so home as well as live recordings are acceptable and will not negatively affect the judging.
- Songs submitted must be in mp3 format. We cannot accept .zip files, .m4a or .wav files. Videos cannot be accepted.
- Runners-up and Honorable Mentions will receive a 2024 Songwriter of the Year Runner-Up or Honorable Mention trophy and will be recognized in all Finalist's and Winners Press Releases and on all ACMA social media and on other media outlets.
- The Final Winner will receive designation(s) and trophy as the 2024 ACMA Country Songwriter of the Year and 2024 ACMA Christian Country Songwriter of the Year, respectively, and will have the opportunity to perform their song at ACMA sponsored special events upon invitation. The overall winners will also have the oportunity to place their song on the ACMA Best of Country Picks or Christian Country Compilation CD.
- Contest begins and entries will be accepted beginning April 1, 2024 and end September 30, 2024, or until the maximum number entries in each category are received.
*Contest rules may change with approval of the ACMA Board of Directors.
