Sarah has created a host of mindful emotion coaching resources that will support you understand the biology of stress and in particular how stress can impact child development. Some children and young people are particularly sensitive to stress in their environment and Sarah provides the opportunity for informed conversations about this, supporting young people, parents and adult caregivers understand the science including what is meant by responsive relationships and why responsive relationships are so important for healthy child development including for those children who are neurodivergent.
Sarah is a doctor with years of experience both working as a GP in General Practice and as part of an ADHD team within CAMHS. Her particular interest is supporting the emotional development of babies and children through coaching young people age 16 +, parents-to-be, parents and adult caregivers including foster parents, adoptive parents, parent carers and guardians. She rarely works with young children, preferring to enable parents and adult caregivers to develop their emotion coaching skills.
We all want our children to be able to manage their feelings and emotions and to be able to cope with life's ups and downs. But did you realise how much of this is about your emotional wellbeing as a parent or carer? Having at least one parent or carer able to emotion coach is an important contributor to a child's healthy brain development. It's also important for their physical health including how their immune system works and how their genes are expressed.

£250 for a bundle of 4 follow up coaching sessions either one to one, as a couple or in a group with other parents and carers
