N.A.H.S.E. Indy Excellence in Achievement Scholarship Awards

The purpose of the N.A.H.S.E. Indy Excellence in Achievement Scholarship Program is to promote the advancement and development of African American healthcare leaders and to elevate the quality of healthcare services rendered to minority communities. A $1,500.00 scholarship award will be granted to one (1) graduate student and one (1) undergraduate student that meet the criteria below. Applications are due by August 31st, 2024.
Requirements

Graduate Student Award:
- Applicant must identify as African American and/or Black.
- Applicant must be enrolled in an accredited college or university program pursuing a master’s degree in healthcare administration (or equivalent), public health or business administration concentrating in health administration.
- Applicant must be matriculating during the 2024-2025 academic school year.
- Applicant must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a scale of 4.00.
- Applicant must become a member of the N.A.H.S.E. Indy chapter should they win the award.
Undergraduate Student Award:
- Applicant must identify as African American and/or Black.
- Applicant must be enrolled in an accredited college or university program pursuing a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or a related field.
- Applicant must be matriculating during the 2024-2025 academic school year.
- Applicant must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.75 on a scale of 4.00.
- Applicant must become a member of the N.A.H.S.E. Indy chapter should they win the award.
