Sharing information without consent
There may be exceptional occasions when it is necessary to share information without the person’s/parent's consent. This will be in accordance with the Information Sharing Agreement for Mindsight Surrey CAMHS or Children & Family Health Surrey (as applicable), common law, the Data Protection Act 1998 and the Health and Social Care (Safety and Quality) Act 2015, as appropriate. For example, it may be in the public interest to share information to protect person(s) from harm. In these circumstances the information shared will always be kept to the minimum necessary.
