  • OUR BELIEFS
“Watch your life and your doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.” 1 Timothy 4:16

OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH: WHAT WE BELIEVE

    1. In essential beliefs, we have unity.
“There is one Body and one Spirit...there is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father of us all…”
    Ephesians 4:4-6

    2. In non-essential beliefs, we have liberty.
“Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on disputable matters...Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls...So then each of us will give an account of himself to God...So whatever you believe about these things keep between yourself and God.”
    Romans 14:1, 4, 12, 22

    3. In all our beliefs, we show charity.
“...If I hold in my mind not only all human knowledge but also the very secrets of God, and if I have the faith that can move mountains but have no love, I amount to nothing at all.”
    1 Corinthians 13:2 (Ph)

  • SPIRITUAL MATURITY

“...that you may become mature Christians and may fulfill God’s will for you.”
    Colossians 4:12
The purpose of this class is to provide the tools necessary to help each believer become a spiritually mature disciple of Jesus Christ.

  • HABIT THREE:

GROWING SPIRITUALLY BY LIVING A SPIRIT LED LIFE

“Gathering them together, He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait for what the Father had promised, “Which,” He said, “you heard of from Me; for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now… you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.”
    Acts 1:4-8

    I. HOW WAS THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRST REVEALED?
“When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.”
“Now there were staying in Jerusalem Godfearing Jews from every nation under heaven. When they heard this sound, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard them speaking in his own language. Utterly amazed, they asked: ‘Are not all these men who are speaking Galileans?
Then how is it that each of us hears them in his own native language? …we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!’
Amazed and perplexed, they asked one another, ‘What does this mean?’ Some, however, made fun of them and said, ‘They have had too much wine.’
“Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, raised his voice and addressed the crowd: ‘Fellow Jews and all of you who live in Jerusalem, let me explain this to you; listen carefully to what I say. These men are not drunk, as you suppose. It’s only nine in the morning! No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: “In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
    Acts 2:1-17

  • CHURCH & FINANCES SUMMARY

“A tithe of everything you produce belongs to the Lord; it is holy to the Lord.”
    Leviticus 27:30
At C3 Boston we practice tithing for the support of Christ’s Body, the church, as God commands. We recognize that giving 10% of our income is the Biblical standard of giving.
Many people love to give to God, but need to have confidence in the methods and pur- poses used by organizations to which they give. Therefore, there are a great number of people willing to give if they are able to see honesty, integrity, and genuine spiritual values reflected in the lifestyles of their church leaders.
The giving of tithes and offerings is worship to Jesus Christ and is an expression of the re- lationship between the individual giver and the Lord. That is why we don’t have people fill out pledge cards or make faith promises. Funds are not “income only,” they are worship, and must not be considered as a business transaction, but as an expression of gratitude toward God.
