For the first time ever, USA Powerlifting athletes will have the opportunity to sleep, eat, and train at the United States Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs! Built in 1978 as the very first Olympic Training Center in the United States, the Colorado Springs location remains the headquarters of the United States Olympic Committee and includes facilities to accommodate world-class training for a wide variety of Olympic and World sports.
All participants must be members in good standing of USA Powerlifting or another IPF affiliate nation. If you need to become a member of USA Powerlifting or renew an expired membership, please do so at www.USAPowerlifting.com/membership-application/ prior to completing this registration form. Athletes may choose to attend one of two camps in September 2019.
Camp 1, running from Sept. 4-8, is open to USAPL athlete members aged 18 or over by the start of the camp. All skill levels and abilities are welcome, from new lifters all the way up to experienced national-level lifters and above.
Camp 2, running from Sept. 8-12, is open to all USAPL Masters athlete members (aged 40 or above by Dec. 31, 2019). All skill levels and abilities are welcome. In addition to covering traditional powerlifting training topics, this Masters camp will also touch on areas of interest common to masters athletes, such as mobility restrictions, programming modifications, irregular training schedules, and recovery methods.
Bringing together the head coaches of several USA Powerlifting National Teams, athletes attending these camps will receive the unprecedented opportunity to spend 4 days training under and learning from some of the best coaches in the world, all at the same time. Coaching staff includes:
