  • MU Student Organization OVPA Event Application

    Please read below first.
  • This application should be completed by the organization president or officer (Event Champion!) who will serve as the on-site contact for the event. This person should be the most knowledgeable source regarding event details, and should serve as the point of contact for the event.

    An MU Student Organization OVPA Event is the use of the Winter Center facility for any program, activity, or organized gathering sponsored and/or organized by a registered Millersville University student club/organization.

    If your event adheres to this description, please follow the steps below.

    1) Submit an event request through Get Involved. Please refer to the Center for Student Involvement & Leadership's On-Campus Event Policies & Procedures Manual.

    2) If your event is approved through Get Involved, please fill out the fields below.

    We are currently booking through June 30, 2021. Please do not submit requests for events beyond this date.

    Note: In accordance with CDC recommendations for social distancing, the building capacities listed above may change. The Office of Visual and Performing Arts (OVPA) will update further when more information becomes available.

  • Note: We ask that guests exit the building no more than 60 minutes after the event end time. If your event needs extra time, please make a note of that in the additional comments section below. Events that occur outside of regular business hours may incur a security fee.


  • Note: If your event is open to the public, it must be ticketed (regardless of price) through the MU Box Office. Costs and fees will be charged to the organization.


  • Note: Technical requests must be coordinated through the OVPA, not Tech Ops.

  • Note: All facility rental fees will be waived. The MU student club/organization agrees that any direct costs incurred (such as labor and equipment costs) will be submitted by OVPA for payment/fund transfer. These direct costs cannot be waived.

  • Note: The organization's faculty/staff advisor MUST be present for the duration of the event.

  • Next steps

  • 1) An OVPA coordinator will contact you.

    2) If a date is agreed upon, OVPA personnel will be place it on hold on the OVPA calendar and in Ad Astra. Please do not attempt to reserve any spaces in Ad Astra.

    3) An estimate of costs, if any, will be generated. Staffing needs, such event coordinator, technical support, and security is at the discretion of the OVPA. 

    4) If you accept the estimate, the date will then be confirmed.
