  9. Supply additional information about your business. You’ll be asked to indicate whether your business is a sole proprietorship, partnership, corporation, nonprofit organization, or government organization. 11. Provide your personal information. To set up your account, you’ll need to provide the last four digits of your social security number, your date of birth, and your home address. After you’ve completed this step, click Submit.
  12. tell us more about you screen

  13. Confirm your email address. Within a few minutes, PayPal will send you an email to confirm the email address you’ve provided. Open the email, and verify your email address. This step is required to start using your account.

You can use a personal bank account number if you don’t have a business account. You’ll be asked for the name of your bank, the account number, and a routing number to complete this step.

Once complete, PayPal will send a verification request to your bank by making two small deposits into the account. This step takes three to five days, so check your bank account regularly for two small deposits from PayPal. When you see the transaction, you can take the final steps to set up your account.
  15. Log into your PayPal account. You may be given additional instructions for verifying your banking information. Once complete, PayPal will prompt you to choose the payment methods your business will accept. At this stage, you’ll also be able to access all of the other features of a PayPal business account.
