How to add Shipping to your Paypal standard account

Last Update: July 14, 2016

You can add shipping fees on your Paypal account so that it will include the said fee whenever the buyer purchases via Paypal through your form here in JotForm.

The two types of cost method for shipping:

The Flat Amount - This is a fixed price shipping fee for a certain price range of your product to be purchased

The Percentage - Using this method, you can change the rate percentage of your shipping fee for a certain price range. The shipping cost using this option varies for every amount.

How to set up your shipping fees

1. Log into your Paypal account.  After logging in, click "Profile" link:

2. Click "My selling tools" at the lower left part of the page

3. At the bottom part of the list, under Shipping my Items is the Shipping calculations.  Click Update

4. Set your Currency and press the Select button. Then select your Cost Method and then press the Select button.

On the lower part of the page, you can adjust the Cost and Price Ranges for your shipping fees:

5. Once done, click the Save Button at the bottom of the page.

Test your form:

You can test your form by making a submission.  Once your form gets redirected to Paypal, you should be able to see the shipping fee applied to the purchase.

I followed this FAQ to set up shipping and handling to my PayPal account and I am still not seeing the shipping and handling option when I am redirected to PayPal from my Jotform. I contacted PayPal support and they told me that I have set up a shipping profile and that the issue is on the integrated forms end. How do I get this to work?

I have created the weight-based shipping integration by setting the weight-based postal fees in my PayPal account, then using the form builder wizard to calculate weight-based shipping by designating weight values for each item. The problem is that the figures we set up in PayPal are not showing up on our orders. Random numbers seem to be showing up. They are close to real shipping costs, but not enough to cover our expenses. How can we fix this?
