How to set Form Limits Based on a Unique Question

January 14, 2022

Let’s suppose you are running a contest and would like to limit unique entries or values in a form. For example, you might want to accept unique mobile numbers. To accomplish that, follow the steps below:

  1. Add a Short Text element (rather than the pre-designed phone field) and label it as Mobile Number.
  1. Go to Settings, then hit the Show More Options button.
  1. Scroll down to the Unique Question option and set it to Mobile Number.

A warning message will appear if a user sends a mobile number that already exists in your submissions.

You can customize the warning message.

Currently, the Unique Questions feature is available only for the following elements:

  • Email
  • Short Text
  • Dropdown
  • Number
