Form View Limits: What Is It All About?

Recently, there was a new feature released - Form Views. You can read more about it on our blog here:

Announcing Pricing Modification: Form View Limits

Now, there might be some questions yet unanswered and we would be happy to answer them - which is the purpose of this article.

We should start with the limits. They can all be seen on our pricing page and as you can see, depending on the plan, you will have different form view counts.

For Free Plan, the limit is to 1,000 form views per month

For Bronze Plan, the limit is set to 10,000 form views per month

For Silver Plan, the limit is set to unlimited form views per month

For Gold Plan, the limit is set to unlimited form views per month

Now, that covers everything that is easy to see, and we will reply to all else through segments, so feel free to jump to the heading of your interest, although we do suggest checking it all out.

What exactly does a form view mean?

Form view is sometimes referred as impression and it is any type of loading the form. So if you have a page on your website that gets 1.000 views per month and embedded the form on the same page, you are OK with the free plan - as long as form views go. Each time someone loads your page would load the form and that would be a form view.

If someone goes to edit their submission - that is another example of a form view.

Disabled forms will however not increase your form views.

Will views from Preview count as form views?

No. The Preview will not be counted against your form views. It will also not count it if the form is viewed by yourself while you are logged in - even if the form is embedded on your website.

This means that form views only count if someone else views the form. The same applies if you are not logged into the system while checking it.

Where can we check our form views?

You can check them in two places:

1. By clicking on the Avatar looking icon in the top right corner (#2 on the image below)

2. Or by going to Account > Usage (#4 on the image below)

What if I have an additional question?

Great. We are waiting for you on our forum, so just let us know :)

You can do that by leaving a comment under this guide or by creating a new thread.

If Jotform cannot control who visits your / our website caused by bots (and whether they fill the form or not), please do not mail us prejudiced emails to upgrade.... because we have received x amount of hits

I created a form and want to share access to it with a colleague, or transfer ownership of it to her. How do I do each of these things? Thank you.

i CANNOT FATHOM THAT THERE WERE 1000 views on those forms so i think when you are creating them the counter would only start after they are published I need to know if these work but due to you counting method I'm past the 1000 views which again I cant believe and I have I have to wait again for this counter to reset you might need to have an additional payment plan for that setup time frame so novice people can utilize your services without breaking the bank a one time fee would give you some payment and help nonprofit clubs like mine to have some of those benefits again with out breaking our bank accounts

    Hello,

I also don't see the Jotform footer button in order to receive unlimited monthly form views.

    Thank you.

I just finished my first form and embedded it on my website on an unlinked page. In the process, of course, I previewed it a few times, but haven't actually tested it, nor made it public. According to the above information previews do not count in the monthly view quota, but my views are already at 56 and increasing with every . How this happened?

I do not have the option of "Jotform Footer" in my settings.

  • impact_group

I enabled the footer branding to lift the firm view limit but my forms are still not showing. I also want to comment that we never received an email saying that we were over our limit? Is it possible to see a breakdown of when all of our firms were "viewed"?

In my settings I am not seeing a way to disable the footer branding. I see the "Jotform Branding" radio button in settings but it's greyed out and I must upgrade to unselect this.

I don't mind the small branding near the submit button I just want the large footer branding to be removed.

    Thank you

    Thanks for response.
I have upgrade my account now

But the view count is a bit strange to me
As i created my first form on 7 May (without promotion), 23 May for the 2nd and 3rd forms
my website (with jotform) visitors for May around 300 only

but jotform view became 9xx already
    how it counts?

or if i put three forms in the same pages, it will count 3 views if people click inside?

    thanks

I use my website daily it acts as my storage for important information so I have a feeling that I'm the one viewing my form so how can I make it so that my viewing isn't counting in my form views?

  • helpinghandrtm

i didn't see the footer option to increase my form views and i see only see "JotForm Branding". which is enable by default.and my form views still remains.

  • midmarksales

If I have 4 different forms, do I get 1,000 views per form. Or a total of 1,000 views for the 4 different forms?

  • hardout

How do you go about clearing submission storage?

  • 2ndleaseform

Hi I was told by Boris in another thread that the view count is reset on the 1st of each month. Its now the 1st and my time zone is set correctly, yet the count is still 993 from May? I have disabled some forms to avoid going over but now I want to enable them again.

    Thanks

I added in the JotForm footer to our forms, from what I read above, our forms will still work and we don't need to change our plan. Is this correct?
