Official delegates who believe that their chapter will face an undue hardship by paying for travel costs to the conference may request a travel stipend by completing this application. There is a finite amount of stipend money available; there is no guarantee of support. Stipends are available for official delegates only (not additional collegiate participants). Some funding may be available for advisors to attend. Contact the Mortar Board executive director to learn more).
Since applications will be considered on a first-come-first-served and financial need basis, delegates are advised to submit this application as soon as possible. The last date for consideration of applications is May 15.
By accepting a stipend, a delegate agrees to use it wisely and in full. If the delegate does not attend the conference for any reason, she/he must return the stipend in its entirety to Mortar Board on or before August 13.
Travel hardship applicants must read and agree to the Travel Hardship Stipend Requirements.
