    Zie: https://www.jotform.com/answers/3149303-why-must-submitters-login

    Hello,

My previous question this morning seems to have disappeared without a trace from your site, so my question again: can I invite 1700 people from Jotform via email to fill out a survey?

I understand that you can do this via Quick Share > Invite by email > Upload csv.
    Is that correct?

But I also understand that the recipients must then create an account.
    Is that correct too?

    See: https://www.jotform.com/answers/3149303-why-must-submitters-login

That is not very convenient, is it? I would like to create a survey for 1700 people of an association, as well as an online registration form, and invite them in Jotform via e-mail to fill out the survey, or to register for an event.

Now what is the most convenient way to handle this?

    Cheers,
    Marc

    Hi Marc,

Based on your requirements, if a user uses invite by email, they will need to create an account in Jotform, since you are assigning a form. If you use direct URL, your users won't be asked to create a new account.

Please note that you need to be logged in into your Jotform account when sending us the message to access it later from the website.

Let us know if you need any further assistance.

    Thank You.

Allright, still don't understand what I should do.

I would like to create a survey for 1700 people of an association and invite them in Jotform via e-mail to fill out the survey.

Now what is the most convenient way to handle this - without them needing to create an account?

    Hi Marc,

Thank you for your update. The most convenient way to share your Jotform Form without asking your form respondent to create an account is by publishing the form as Public Form.

I understand that you can do this via Quick Share > Invite by email > Upload csv.

Now, if you wish to send this form via this process, there will be a limit of 20 emails per day for free accounts. I don't think it will be convenient for you to do this.

The most practical way to share the form is just by sending it from your own email. That way you can send more than 20 emails per day.

You just have to make the form public, copy the form URL from the publish tab, and start sending email using your own email containing the Form Link.

Let us know if we can further assist.

    Thank you, that makes sense.

I'm planning to use a Silver account. How many mails can I send per day with this type of account? And the (1700) recipients don't need to create a Jotform account that way?

    Hi Marc,

Thank you for your update. For accounts on paid subscriptions, the limit is 100 emails per hour with a limit of 1000 emails per day.

Yes, Silver plan would be perfect for your targeted form respondents. As long as the form is public, they won't be needing to sign up to Jotform to fill out a form.

    Allright, that sounds good!

So with the Silver plan I can upload a csv file with 1700 email addresses and the system (Jotform) can/will take care of sending emails with a frequency of 100 per hour and 1000 per day? Or do I need to send them manually: 100 per hour, 10 times a day?

    Hi Marc,

Thank you for your update. I apologize, I have to correct myself. Uploading a CSV file to share a form will require respondents to create an account since this will use the Jotform Assign Feature. So I have gone ahead and escalated your request to our developers, but when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

For now, the only way to send the form without needing them to sign up and without limits per day is through your email.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, we appreciate it.

    Hmm, that's very unfortunate...

Thanks anyway for clearing this up for me
