    FINANCIAL AGREEMENT

  • The Financial Policy for Avalon Christian Preschool is as follows:

    • Registration fee is $60.00 (Due at time of registering your child)
    • Workbook fee is $60.00 for ½ day classes (Due by June 1st or at enrollment)    Workbook fees are $90.00 for All Day classes (Due by June 1st or at enrollment)
    • Tuition is due the end of every month.  Our tuition is prorated over a nine-month period so that your tuition rate is the same each month.  Thus, your    tuition payment is the same in December (when you have Christmas Break)  as in March, when we typically have 5 weeks of school.  We do not offer  refunds for:  late arrivals or early departures, family vacations during scheduled class days, illness or snow days.
    • Payments can be made in the office with Cash, Check/Money Order ONLY or online through your email.  (A $3.00 transaction fee will be added to your account if you pay online.)
    • All return checks are subject to a $20.00 charge.
    • Tuition Late fee is $10.00 if payment is not received each month on time.
    • Late Pick up fee is $5.00 if you are more than 15 minutes late picking up your child from your child’s dismissal time.  An additional $5.00 will be added for each additional 15 minutes after
    • If you choose to enroll your child in lunch bunch, the fee is determined by the weekly plan you choose and is due with tuition each month.  You may add, change or cancel the plan at the end of each calendar month.  The changes you make will be effective the following month.
    • Your child’s account must be paid in full by the end of April.  If there is a  remaining balance your child cannot participate in the Spring  Program/Graduation.
    • If you choose to withdraw your child for any reason, please refer to our withdrawal policy in the Parent Handbook and your signed agreement.

  • WITHDRAWAL AGREEMENT

    WITHDRAWAL AGREEMENT

  • Avalon Preschool requires that a parent or guardian submit a “Withdrawal Notice Form” at least two weeks in advance of the departure date for any reason. We require this to ensure enough notice to the office and teaching staff in preparation for your student. Please be sure that all tuition is paid before the withdrawal. If the departure date falls anywhere into the next month, you will be expected to pay the next month’s tuition. All policies are subject to change at the school board’s discretion. I acknowledge by signing below that I have read and understand the above policy, stated here and in the parent handbook.

In addiotion to and coinciding with the above policy, in the event of a last minute school closure, Avalon Preschool reserves the right to keep any paid tuition for the current month of the school closure.  This is to be sure our current expenses and staff obligations can be met.

  • HEALTH POLICY ACKNOWLEDGMENT

    HEALTH POLICY ACKNOWLEDGMENT

  • In efforts to do the best we can for the safety of the Staff and the Students of Avalon Preschool, Leadership individuals are continuing to stay up-to-date with the latest state and local guidelines and the CDC guidelines regarding the health and safety of your child.  We appreciate the trust you place with Avalon Preschool and commit to following the health and safety requirements and guidelines put in place.

Schools have implemented enhanced procedures to help limit the spread of COVID-19 and other communicable disease, communal infection or illness.  Avalon Preschool is also taking these measures.

The American Academy of Pediatrics and the CDC states that the 2 best means of stopping the spread of communicable disease or infection are:

     1.     Washing your hands frequently

     2.     Staying home when you are sick

To maintain a healthy environment at the school during this time of concern, we will be strictly enforcing our Health Guidelines and Protocols as stated in the Parent Handbook. For your convenience, I have included them on this sheet as well.

    • Children may not attend school if they are sick &/or have a fever (have any communicable disease or communal infection)
    • Parents are to inform the school if their child has a contagious disease or is going to be absent for more than three consecutive days.
    • Children may not attend if they have flu-like symptoms, vomiting, diarrhea, thick yellow-green discharge from the nose, persistent coughing, undiagnosed rash, lice, or other signs of illness
    • If your child becomes ill during the school day or has a fever of 100.4F, you will be notified.  Prompt arrangements for picking up your child in these instances are expected as soon as possible.
    • Children with a fever cannot return until child has been fever free, without medication for 24 hours
    • In returning to school, your child's temperature may be taken at the discretion of the school staff, if needed

As always, the safety of your children are of utmost importance to us. By adhering to these guidelines we feel we can limit the exposure of unwanted infection here at school.

    ACKNOWLEDGMENT

I acknowledge that the participation in Avalon Preschool involves risk to my child, and may result in various types of illness including, but not limited to, the following: sickness, exposure to infectious/communicable disease and injury in child play.  In consideration for the opportunity for my child to participate in Avalon Preschool, I acknowledge and accept the risks of contracting illness or injury in child play.  I accept personal financial responsibility for any injury or other loss sustained during the current school year, as well as for any medical treatment needed that is authorized by Avalon Preschool.  Further, I will not hold Avalon Preschool liable for any injury or illness arising directly or indirectly in participation of Avalon Preschool.

    BATHROOM CONSENT FORM

  • Avalon Christian Preschool encourages self-help skills.  They are a big part of our learning experience.  In the process of using the restroom and taking care of our restroom needs, a student may need some assistance until the child is ready.  Our staff wants to encourage and support each student in all their aspects of growth.  Here at Avalon, routine tasks such as toileting are handled in a positive, reassuring and individualized manner.  However, we do know that during this time young students may need some help in the process (Snapping/Buttoning pants or even wiping).  If you feel your child may require some assistance during this time, please sign below.  If your child has accidents, please send the appropriate items for changing (pullups, clothing, etc.)
