Engage in a sensory experience of color and technique as we step back in time and
embroider a floral motif from the Anne Patterson bedcover. Stitched in 1800, the
Anne Patterson bedcover is one of the oldest examples of needlework in Broome County, New York.

In this workshop, you’ll not only learn the history of the Anne Patterson bedcover,
but you’ll be provided with a free kit and together we’ll stitch a keepsake ornament that celebrates this remarkable piece of needlework history.

This workshop is included with event admission thanks to support from the Embroiderer's Guild of America Scholarship to promote this history of needlework in Broome County.
