LIABILITY RELEASE, INDEMNIFICATION, AND HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT*

I HEREBY RELEASE, DISCHARGE, AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE St. Pius X High School, its officers, directors, administrators, faculty, staff, students, volunteers, representatives, agents, event promoters, participants, sponsors, affiliates, insurers, and any subdivisions thereof, as well as the owners, lessees, and lessors of the premises on which the activity takes place (each considered herein as “RELEASEES”) FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY, CLAIMS, DEMANDS, LOSSES, OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO ANY INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR OTHER HARM THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE ATTENDING, PARTICIPATING IN, OR BEING PRESENT AT THE EVENT. I UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT IF I, OR ANYONE ON MY BEHALF, ATTEMPTS TO MAKE A CLAIM AGAINST ANY OF THE RELEASEES NAMED ABOVE, I EXPRESSLY AGREE TO DEFEND, INDEMNIFY, SAVE, AND HOLD HARMLESS THE RELEASEES AND EACH OF THEM FROM ANY AND ALL LITIGATION EXPENSES, ATTORNEY FEES, LOSS, LIABILITY, DAMAGE, OR COSTS THEY MAY INCUR AS A RESULT OF ANY CLAIM ASSERTED AGAINST ANY OF THE RELEASEES, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER SUCH CLAIM IS BASED ON THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE. THIS RELEASE EXPRESSLY EXTENDS TO AND INCLUDES ANY AND ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE ACTS, OMISSIONS, OR NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO CLAIMS FOR PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR OTHER LOSS SUFFERED AS A RESULT OF PARTICIPATION IN OR ATTENDANCE AT THIS EVENT. I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE READ THIS AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, AND RECOGNIZE THAT BY SIGNING IT, I AM WAIVING SUBSTANTIAL LEGAL RIGHTS.
