05-16-2022 14:19:33	CareerSource of Southwest Florida has for many years ran a program we call Destination Graduation. This program works with HS-age youth who have been identified by their principals as in danger of dropping out and intervenes with a paid mentor/academic coach/career coach to help the student catchup with schoolwork, get a parttime job and fill out applications for post-secondary school/work/military. I've been on workforce boards for 20 years and this is the best use of "out-of-school funds" I've ever seen. Relatively small investment that yields huge results and keeps us from having to spend taxpayer money AFTER the youth drops out. I strongly encourage your approval of this waiver request.
05-10-2022 15:26:53	I support this request for waiver. Every workforce region has unique characteristics that require funding allocations that may differ from the federal limits. In Region 24, this waiver would allow service to a larger number of people.
