  • FLT Junior Board Application Form

  • Freshwater Land Trust’s (FLT) Junior Board supports the work and mission of FLT: to conserve and care for environmentally-significant land throughout Central Alabama, and to connect the Red Rock Trail System® (RRTS) throughout Jefferson County.

    In the simplest terms, FLT conserves land and builds trails so our community is happier and healthier. To-date, FLT has conserved over 12,000 acres of land across 14 counties and built 129 miles of trails throughout Jefferson County in the Red Rock Trail System.

    Junior Board members are between the ages of 21-40 at the beginning of their term and may renew their term for up to five years.

If you are unable to fulfill the commitments listed below by the 4th quarter Junior Board meeting (date TBD), you will be subject to additional fees and/or removal from the Junior Board. Renewal will be determined by the EC, and if deemed appropriate, a member who has not met the requirements must pay $150 in addition to dues in order to renew for a second year.

    *   Submit $100 membership dues by February 28th, 2025.
