• 2026 AWESOME Festival Kids' Market

    The AWESOME Kids' Market is back, and we're now accepting Expressions of Interest from WA young makers aged 16 and under to sell their homemade creations and host their own stall for a day at the AWESOME Festival.

  • This year, the AWESOME Festival will be delivered across two exciting hubs:

    Subiaco Arts Centre, Gardens
    180 Hamersley Road, Subiaco
    Tues 29 Sept - Sat 3 Oct, 10am - 3pm

    State Theatre Centre of WA, Courtyard (NO SPACES LEFT - join the waitlist!)
    174/176 William Street, Perth
    Tues 29 Sept - Sat 3 Oct, 10am - 3pm

    Think jewellery, candles, greeting cards, pot plants, keyrings, and more. We can't wait to see what you create!

  • Please note:

    Unfortunately we are unable to allow stallholders to sell food/drink items, second hand items or cosmetics (including soap, lip balms, face paint, etc) due to insurance purposes.

    A parent or guardian must be present for the duration of the market.

    Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

  • We will provide a 3m x 3m marquee, a trestle table and chairs. Do you require anything else?

  • Insurance

  • Some of our stallholders already hold their own Public Liability Insurance. To avoid doubling up, please let us know if you currently have coverage.

    If you don't, that's absolutely fine - we'll include you under our insurance for this event.

    Please note: All stallholders must sign in upon arrival and sign out when leaving to be covered under our insurance.

    I give consent for my child’s image to be used by Barking Gecko Arts and associated partners for internal and external communications in relation to:
     

    • Print publications (newsletters, brochures, annual reports)
    • Electronic Media including websites, social media, television, podcasts, radio and advertisement
    • Associated partner publications
       

    By signing this form, I give permission for Barking Gecko Arts, its associated partners to use these images/video for promotion and to encourage other young people to engage in community projects.
