Keep Calvert Country (KCC) is a bi-partisan citizens organization formed over a decade ago. Our mission is to:
- preserve the county’s rural character and residents' quality of life;
- advocate for responsible growth and transparency in government;
- provide information to Calvert citizens; and
- ensure that development happens in balance with infrastructure and environmental limits.
As many are aware, two companies, Amazon and Natelli Holdings, are proposing to construct data centers in Calvert County. Amazon proposes locating adjacent to the nuclear power plant in Lusby and Natelli proposes locating on the site LNG donated to the County for a future park, also in Lusby.

On April 7th, the County Commissioners will be considering the adoption of a moratorium to prevent the construction of data centers. Check the Commissioners' agenda here for more info.
KCC is not advocating for or against the proposed data center at this time. Through this short survey, we wish to ascertain the opinions of local citizens. You may indicate below (Question #4) whether you wish to share your responses with the County Commissioners.
