  • Be it known by all that this contract is entered into by two parties, myself, seeking camp ministry work, and by Treasure Mountain Bible Camp, a Colorado non-profit corporation. By my signature, I am committing my time and service to the Lord during my week at Treasure Mountain Bible Camp. I understand that my employment at Treasure Mountain Bible Camp is at the discretion & direction of the Camp Director and that I am coming on a volunteer basis. 

    Upon signing this agreement, I am agreeing to abide by all rules and regulations established by the ministry of Treasure Mountain Bible Camp. Failure to do so can result in my dismissal or other appropriate disciplinary action, at the discretion of the leadership.

    Volunteer Expectations:

    1. A godly, mature, and moral attitude and conduct at all times.
    2. A spirit of service and devotion to serving the Lord in the camp ministry.
    3. A team player with a cooperative, Christian spirit.
    4. To be versatile, flexible, and willing to work where needed whether that is in operations or program duties.
    5. Treasure Mountain Bible Camp requires ALL staff members and speakers (who preach, teach, and memorize the Word of God) to use the King James Bible.

    The following will not be tolerated:

    1. Infractions of biblical moral standards.
    2. Not reporting for duty as scheduled or ready to follow the direction of the Camp Director or other superiors.
    3. Not performing assigned duties in a timely and cooperative fashion.
    4. Contention, displaying of a bad attitude or causing discord.

    What you, can expect from the ministry of Treasure Mountain Bible Camp:

    1. A great place to minister!
    2. Experience and practical teaching in a vital local church-based ministry.
    3. I realize that by signing this contract I, "the ministry staff person," am promising to help in "the ministry of Treasure Mountain Bible Camp" as unto the Lord.

     

  • Required Paperwork

    (All fees for the required paperwork will be reimbursed by TMBC upon receipt.)
  • Background Check & TRAILS Form (must be completed every 5 years)

    Both the Background Check and Trails Form are required by Colorado State Law.

    On the TMBC website, click on both tabs below the registration and physical forms to find instructions to complete your Background Check and Trails Form.

     

    Character References (these do NOT need to be resubmitted each year)

    On the TMBC website, click on the tab below the Background Check and Trails Forms to find a Character Reference. Please have this Character Reference filled out by 3 separate people - your pastor and two other adults that can attest to your character and abilities. Upon submission, these forms will be sent directly to our camp office. 

     

    Camp Physical

    This can be from anytime within the last two years but must show the date and have a health authority’s signature.

  • Colorado Law states: "Any applicant who knowingly or willfully makes a false statement of any material fact or thing in the application is guilty of perjury in the second degree as defined in Section 18-8-503, C.R.S., and upon conviction thereof, shall be punished accordingly.”

    I certify that answers given herein are true and complete to the best of my knowledge.  I authorize investigation of all statements contained in this application for employment/volunteer work as may be necessary in arriving at a staff paid/unpaid employment decision.  In the event of acceptance, I understand that false or misleading information given in my application or interview(s) may result in discharge.  I understand, also, that I am required to abide by all rules and regulations of Treasure Mountain Bible Camp.
