    In planning for my year as president, I was surprised to find 28 committees listed in Clubrunner, many unfilled. In an effort to best direct Rotarian efforts this year, please complete the following survey relative to committees and projects. Your input is instrumental for determining the direction of the Club in the coming year.  --Thea

  • The following committees are related to service projects the Club has historically conducted. Please indicate your interest for the Club to continue these projects as well as your own interest in participating.

  • Golf Outing benefitting BAVTS Bridges Scholarship program. Committee plans the annual golf event held in May.
  • Tastes & Tunes: The Club's signature event raising money for area nonprofits and club grants. There are many roles available for this event.
  • Strike Out Hunger: Sending children from Northeast Ministries to a Phillies game.
  • Operation Hunger: Food packing area (has traditionally been a grant-funded area-wide event).
  • Operation Warmth: Coat Drive
  • Schrempel Scholarship: Selects a music student to receive a scholarship
  • Camp Neidig: Coordinates the sending of student(s) to Camp Neidig in the summer
  • Dictionary Project: Coordinates and distributes dictionaries to local first-grade students.
  • Centennial Park: Care and maintenance of our park near Sand Island.
  • The following are Rotary International affiliated projects which we may or may not currently partcipate in. Please gauge your level of interest.

  • Rotary International Foundation- Lead Club Fundraising efforts for RI
  • Polio Plus: Fundraising
  • Summer Youth Exchange: Students coming from or sent to other Districts
  • Peace Scholar: Sponsoring a Student to attend a Rotary Peace Center
  • Four Way Test: Hold a contest for high school students who prepare speeches based on the Four Way Test
  • RAGUS (Rotary Action Group Against Slavery)
